INTRODUCTION
The FIL Media Filter Cartridge is designed to fit not only FIL, MACA and MPKA cabinets, but several competing filter manufacturers' air cleaner cabinets as well. In the case of Trion®, Honeywell and MACA cabinets, a piece of foam seal strip (included) is needed to further produce a secure fit between filter and filter cabinet. These instructions will detail the foam seal strip installation process. NOTE: *Space-Gard® 2200 models use FIL__CAR0020 Only

1. Prepare seal strip for installation
   a. Cut strip to proper length.
   b. Peel off liner backing.
   
2. Install foam seal strip to top edge of filter cartridge on leaving airflow side (See Fig. 1).
3. Remove Air Cleaner Cabinet Door.
4. Install filter and replace air cleaner cabinet door.

NOTE: For best results, foam seaL strip should be installed on leaving air side of filter (recommended location).
NOTE: For Space-Gard® 2200, no seal strip is required. Install filter media cartridge inside the plastic filter holder.
