The Hot Dawg is a low-profile gas-fired unit heater that is designed to heat garages and is certified for residential, commercial, and industrial use.
NOTE: THE HOT DAWG REQUIRES GAS, VENT, AND ELECTRICAL
CONNECTIONS. THEREFORE, WE RECOMMEND THAT THE UNIT BE
INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED CONTRACTOR.
Control system description: Single Stage, Hot Surface Ignition, 100% Shut-Off,, Multiple retry with Auto Reset from Lockout.
Utilizes a single-stage combination gas control with built-in ignition control. Gas is lit with a hot surface igniter on call for heat.
- The Hot Dawg can operate on either natural or propane gas. GAS TYPE MUST BE SPECIFIED WHEN ORDERING.
- It has a factory-installed venting system that allows for either vertical or horizontal venting. (3" or 5" vent pipe-depending upon the application-must be purchased separately.)
- Supply voltage required: 115 volt, 60 hertz, single phase.
- Gas connection: 1/2"
- Includes angled hanging brackets designed for 3/8" bolts, lag screws, or rods. This allows for snug-to-ceiling installation with 1" clearance; or the unit can be suspended with threaded rods.
- Quiet operation.
- Versatile design allows for right or left-hand piping and installation.
- Louvers are fully adjustable to direct the heat where it is needed.
- The Hot Dawg can operate at high altitudes but requires a "high altitude kit".
