- Continuous digital display - lets
you monitor the level of CO
currently in your home. Display is
updated every 15 seconds.
- Test / Reset button - checks
the unit's electronic circuitry and
horn. Resets the unit during
alarm.
- Peak level button - displays the
highest CO level recorded since
the alarm was last reset or
unplugged.
- AC plug adapter - provides
constant power to the unit and
allows flexibility of placement:
direct plug-in, wall-mounted or
tabletop.
- Rechargeable lithium ion
battery - provides uninterrupted
protection even during a power
outage.
Includes Rechargeable Battery Back Up. The alarm will automatically switch to battery back up operation in the event of a power outage or if alarm is unplugged.
NOTE: Your Carrier CO alarm is NOT battery operated. The backup battery is to supply short-term back up power during a power outage. In the event of a power outage, the battery will continue operating the alarm for at least 20 hours.
Three Mounting Options: Direct Plug, Wall Mount, or Table Top. Best location is in or near bedrooms. Place a CO alarm on every level of the home. Refer to User's Guide.
This carbon monoxide alarm is designed to detect carbon monoxide from any source of improper or malfunctioning appliance. It is not designed to detect smoke, fire, or any other gas.
Replacement date is 8 years after initial power up. This alarm has an "operational end of life" feature which will indicate when to replace the alarm.
Limited warranty: This product will be free from defect in material and workmanship for 7 years from date of purchase, and the battery pack will be warranted for I year.
