The new HEPA 3000* unit is much more than a regular heat recovery ventilator. In fact, more than preheating air from outside
before circulating it throughout the home, this unit is equipped with an HEPA** filter, which traps
airborne allergens such as pollen, dust, mold, bacteria, etc.

allergens in your house. This filter catches up to 99.97% of 0.3 microns (and larger size) particules.

Control
The HEPA 3000 unit is very simple to operate: once it is installed, simply turn on the
switch (located on the front panel) to the desired speed (Off, Normal or Boost)
If desired, you can use the optional wall control C34. This control offers 3 operating
modes: Normal, Boost and Recirculation. Also, it is equipped with a convenient filter
maintenance indicator, reminding you when it is time to change your filters.
Ventilation and HEPA Filtration
- Stale air from the house is drawned up to the unit, and transfers its heat to the fresh incoming air.
- A portion of the stale air is exhausted to the outside.
- Fresh air from outside is blended with interior air. Then, the airflow goes through the prefilter (catching the bigger particles) and the HEPA filter, which catches up to 99.97% of 0.3 microns and larger size particles.
- Fresh filtered air is distributed throughout the house.

Maintenance
Furthermore to its easy installation, this unit is maintenance troublefree.
Once the front door open, you directly access the heat recovery module. Slide out this module to access the prefilter and HEPA filter cartridge.
The prefilter should he replaced every 6 months and the complete HEPA filter
cartridge should he replaced once a year.
No tools are required to perform the maintenance! Also, the motor is factory
lubricated; there is no need to oil the motor.

The HEPA 3000 unit is fully protected by a 2-year warranty on all parts and labor
in workshop, except for filter and prefilter.
