Zoning is a way of dividing your home into areas with similar heating and cooling requirements. You have a light switch for every room in your house... why not have a thermostat?

• Comfort - Zoning solves the problem of some rooms being too warm while other rooms may be too cold. Even some automobile manufacturers have begun offering zoning as individual driver and passenger temperature controls in many new car models.

• Convenience - No longer will you have to go to the hallway or dining room to adjust the temperature for the bedrooms.

• Conservation - Zoning can save an average 15% to 30% by only conditioning the occupied zones.

• Common Sense - You don't turn on all the light in the house from a single switch. It would be a waste of money. Then why use a single thermostat? After all, what costs more, lighting or heating and cooling costs? Typically heating and cooling account for 2/3 of the home utility bill.

A zoning system will let you choose the comfort temperature you want, when you want it,, and where you want it.

Each zone in your home has dampers in your ductwork that open or shut based on your heating/cooling requirements. These dampers are controlled through the thermostat for that particular zone.

Zoning contributes to a home in many ways:
Comfort - eliminates problem of one room being too warm while another is too cold.
Convenience - there's a thermostat located in each zone so you don't have to go to the hallway to adjust the thermostat for the whole house.

TZ-4 TOTALZONE ZONE CONTROL PANEL
Four zone panel designed to provide first call changeover from any zone thermostat. For most systems including single-stage and up to 3 stages of heating and 2 stages of cooling and heat pump.

EMM-3 ELECTRONIC MINIZONE CONTROL PANEL (Number of Stages: 1 Heat/1 Cool)
Controls single-stage heat/cool equipment for two and three zone applications.

EMM-3U UNIVERSAL ELECTRONIC MINIZONE PANEL (Number of stages: 2 Heat/2 Cool)
Controls single-stage, multi-stage, conventional or heat pump heat/cool equipment and is used on two and three zone applications.

T866SA1002 CHRONOTHEPM IV PLUS PROGRAMMABLE WIRELESS THERMOSTAT
Has the need for added wiring kept you from getting retrofit zoning? Then the wireless stat is what you need. It provides control of 24 Vac heating and cooling systems. It has full seven-day program capability. Different schedules and temperature setpoints may be selected for everyday to match homeowners flexible schedule.

Mounting: On wall plate horizontally. Can be mounted up to 200 feet from the receiver.

Required Accessory (Not Included) to be used with the T8665AI002 wireless stat is the W866SA1009 RF Receiver for single zone or W866SE1000 RF Receiver for up to three zones. These receivers are hardwired and woudibe mounted on a wall near the equipment to provide 24 Vac control of heating and cooling systems.
